The Housing Authority New Roads (HANR) has one mission - to provide qualified families with safe, decent and affordable housing of the highest quality. As we continue to exist during these uncertain economic times we are experiencing many more challenges as funds are constantly being reduce year after year. We have decided the only way to ensure our continued viable existence is to maximize our current funding that we are provided from the federal government through subsidy and capital funds. The funding is currently being used to modernize our public housing units and property improvements. We are currently exploring innovative ways to continue the improvement through new developments and expand our partnerships with others that share our visons.

Board Meetings Schedule

The regular meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Housing Authority Office, 151 Cherry Street, New Roads, LA, except for November (no meeting) and December meeting TBD at the same location.
